Gamecocks Shut Down UNC
Yesterday The South Carolina Gamecocks Shutdown North Carolina to stay alive. The beat them 8-0 with 31 at bats, 8 hits, and only 5 strikeouts. Not only did that do that but their team average was .290. Jordan Montgomery threw 121 pitches with 71 strikes. But it was the defense that let no runs score even though 4 hits. One of the biggest factors for South Carolina was there batting. Why? Well because UNC had 6 different pitchers and all did bad.
