McCarthy is Okay after Seizure
Last September Brandon McCarthy was struck in the Head by a line drive. Then last Monday he was eating with his wife and a Phoenix Area Restaurant when he suffered a seizure. All the staff workers and a couple of customers helped him through the ability to not even move. He later said thank you to all the wonderful people who helped and said he was doing okay. He has been in anti-seizure medication and will not be placed on the disabled list.

No Hitter Shattered
Atlanta Braves pitcher Julio Teheran had a no hitter throughout the whole game, until Brandon Inge of Pittsburgh shattered it to pieces in the eighth inning with two outs. Only four more outs, and a no hitter would be credited to Teheran. Not many pitchers are good enough to allow zero hits a whole game. Even many good pitchers don't throw that good. Maybe later in Julio's career, he will pitch a game with no hits given up. This was definitely a heart breaker.

20 Players Suspended

Major League will look to suspend 20 players currently playing in the MLB. These players were connected to the Miami-area clinic at the center of an ongoing performance enhancing drug scandal. Possibly two of the best players currently in the MLB were associated with this. Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers, and Alex Rodriguez also known as A-Rod for the New York Yankees. 100 game suspensions will follow if this matter goes further. This scandal would be the largest in American sports history.

Toronto Blue Jays Activation
The Toronto Blue Jays activated two players today...right-handed pitcher Josh Johnson and outfielder, Rajai Davis. Davis joined Toronto in an off-season trade with Miami. He will start tonight against the Giants in San Francisco.

Grand Slammer
A four run home run, also known as a grand slam  was hit by Mark Teixeira last night. He raised his fist in happiness, and excitement while rounding first base.

Record Tells It All
The Oakland Athletics and the Milwaukee Brewers competed last night in a match that took place at the Brewers home field, Miller Park. People always say "home field advantage". The final score showed that home field advantage doesn't mean a thing when you're playing a team that has a better record than you. Coming into this game, Milwaukee had an awful record of 21 wins and 34 losses. They come out of this game even worse with another loss added to their record. On the other hand, Oakland had an impressive record of 35 wins and 24 losses. They add another win to their own record and look to add another at tonight's game. The Oakland Athletics beat the Milwaukee Brewers last night 10-2!

Top Prospect
The Los Angeles Dodgers promoted their top prospect , Yasiel Puig following Sunday's 7-2 loss to the Colorado Rockies. Maybe this rookie will bring a spark to the Dodgers team, and they will bring their record up. Los Angeles Dodgers Current Record: (23-32)

Bad Call Blue!
Yadier Molina was called out at first on a call that could've gone either way. After the call, he slammed his helmet on the ground, and screamed the "f" bomb. The manager of the St.Louis Cardinals, Mike Matheny stormed the field, and was up in the umps face. Right after, he was ejected along with Yadier Molina.

Harper Hoping for the impossible!
On Sunday Bryce Harper proclaimed that he hopes to be hitting and running again this week.Although he said his knee has not healed, he thinks he will be back soon. Then on Saturday he was placed on the 15 day disabled list because of bursitis in his knee.He later said in an interview."It's still swollen and crappy. I'm just trying to get treatment and see if the swelling will go down."

Whats Wrong with Josh Hamilton?
Whats wrong with Josh Hamilton? Is he too old? well the story is....Josh Hamilton has had back problems in the past and now he has gotten small back spasms. It would be a reasonable explanation for his slump the he has been in. Once his back fully heals he may be that top slugger like he was just last year. He is batting .240 right now and has only 8 home-runs with 8 RBI's.
